Stadium History
Oracle Park (originally Pacific Bell Park, then AT&T Park) opened in 2000, replacing Candlestick Park. The park was privately financed and is known for its 'Splash Hits' - home runs that land in McCovey Cove beyond right field. The ballpark has hosted three World Series championships. The unique weather patterns and waterfront location create challenging playing conditions. The park features a giant Coca-Cola bottle and baseball glove in left field.
