Stadium History
TD Garden opened in 1995, replacing the old Boston Garden. The arena preserves many traditions from the old Garden, including the famous parquet floor. It has hosted 6 NBA championships for the Celtics and 3 Stanley Cups for the Bruins since opening. The Hub on Causeway development has transformed the surrounding area into a dining and entertainment destination.
